About me

I come from a Italian and Mexican background and have been cooking since I could see over the stove. I love cooking, baking, and barbequing. I enjoy sharing the experience and the food with friends and family.  I like to be creative with food, and sometimes just put my own spin on classic meals.

I learned to BBQ when the entire world shut down due to COVID.  Before COVID I was not even interested in learning to start a grill, let alone a pit! While I was laid off for 10 months, I did a little studying of Aaron Franklin's techniques... then my FIRST time ever BBQing - I did a brisket.  And nailed it!  I was hooked after that!  Charcoal grills and off-set smokers are my go-to.
